The KARFs are made possible through the Izaak Walton Killam Memorial Fund for Advanced Studies established through a bequest from the late Dorothy J. Killam, and provide two years of funding for focused research. Join UBC for two special in-person events, one in Vancouver and one in Kelowna, to hear how the 2023-25 cohort of KARF recipients have advanced their research and scholarship. Lectures at the UBCV event will focus on the theme of health, and lectures at the UBCO event will focus on the theme of sustainability; please see presenter bios and topics below.
